Job description
As a Marketing Manager, reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager you play an important leadership role in the Marketing Team and Commercial Office. You will manage and be a role model for other Marketing professionals acting as a deputy for the Senior Marketing Manager as needed.
With the business expanding, this role has been created to lead a new team. You will manage the yearly calendar of marketing campaigns including media planning, performance lead marketing and advertising to support acquisition and retention. You will be a great people manager, supporting and developing the team for success.
As a key member of the team, you will actively help the Marketing Team and Commercial Office succeed, collaborating with others to problem solve and drive positive outcomes for the Society.
Communication: Good communication skills, providing relevant updates to stakeholders to keep projects moving well.
Highly organised: High level of commercial awareness and the ability to work at pace on multiple tasks at once.
Diligent: Care about making a difference and will review and share performance of your work to support continuous improvement in the department.
Integrity: When working with external contacts you will act with integrity, protecting the Society’s interests.
Essential Requirements:
- You’ll have experience of working within a fast-paced marketing function, having a good understanding of Marketing delivery processes
- Educated to degree level
- Effective campaign manager with excellent delivery yourself and as part of a wider team
- Great at stakeholder management and working across teams including Senior Management
- Number of years people management, and coaching a team
- Excellent planning skills, defining campaign strategies, key messages, audiences and tactics to deliver results
- Substantial experience in delivery and successfully getting projects and campaign across the line
- Tracking and reporting campaign results based on objectives and KPIs.
Hours: 35 – Mon to Friday
