We’re not a traditional design agency or another freelance marketplace - we're a tech enabled graphic design subscription service, powered by cloud-based software, exceptional customer support and a rapidly expanding team of friendly, positive and ambitious creatives.Since launching in Jan 2020, we've grown from 2 people to a full-time team of 30, serving 350+ customers across the UK, USA and Canada - with no sales team or external funding.As the Marketing Manager at Design Cloud, your mission is simple - execute demand generation strategies that drive pipeline and revenue growth. (If you just asked yourself 'What is demand generation?' - This role is probably not for you)Over the coming years we have ambitious (but realistic) growth targets to hit. Our total addressable market is huge (even without looking at Europe & the US) and we solve a problem that almost all marketing teams and agencies face - accessing high quality, ongoing creative content in an affordable, simple way.This is a golden career opportunity for an experienced, modern marketer to step up and play a key role in leading the Design Cloud marketing function on our journey to becoming the No.1 creative subscription service in Europe.Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong leadership skills: You'll need to be a natural leader who is able to provide guidance, and mentorship as you will leading and building this team.
- B2B marketing experience: Minimum of 5yrs - Ideally, you're currently working for a SaaS business or you at least have a solid understanding of how recurring revenue business models operate.
- Paid advertising: Extensive experience of running and optimising B2B paid ad campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, Meta and Bing. (In time, there will be a paid media manager on the team, who you will go on to lead)
- Revenue growth: Demonstrable experience in managing and executing effective marketing campaigns that drive revenue growth - We're not looking for someone who knows how to generate 1000 cheap leads a month from ebook downloads. A lead to us is a demo booked in the diary from someone who fits our ICP.
- Strong analytical skills: You'll need to have deep understanding of measuring and reporting on CPL, ROAS, LTV, CAC.
- Marketing automation: Experience of working with marketing automation, project management and productivity tools like Hubspot, Intercom, Slack, Clickup or similar - We love automation and efficiency.
- Creative thinking: We're a creative business and we love to have fun with our marketing, we're looking for someone who truly understands the value that creativity has on advertising. Check out our Linkedin ads to get a feel for what we're about.
- Content Creation: No graphic design or video editing experience needed, our in-house creative team will bring your creative content ideas to life.
- SEO: We don't expect you to be an expert in this area, however we do need you to have a solid understanding of best practises and be able to work with external partners to ensure we are maximising the ROI of our SEO.
- Bonus Skills: Experience of working in Webflow to create or improve campaign landing pages and add new sections to our website where required.
Responsibilities:
- Revenue growth: Your ultimate goal is to drive new revenue via in-bound marketing.
- Leading our marketing function: You'll be leading the Design Cloud marketing function with an experienced, talented Marketing Exec under your wing. They know the business inside out and have played a vital part in building our brand and generating leads over the last 2yrs. They currently manage our organic social channels, weekly blogs and various other aspects of what makes our marketing tick. Over time, we'll build the team around you both further.
- Paid advertising: You'll be taking over the ongoing management and optimisation of our paid ad campaigns from our CEO. You'll also be responsible for a 6 figure annual paid ads budget across Linkedin, Google, Meta and Bing.
- Campaign & strategy management: You'll be building on and improving what currently works in our marketing stack (organic and paid) as well as implementing new ideas to create demand for our service and educate prospects through all steps of the funnel.
- Creative content management: Work closely with our video agency partners, in-house design team and marketing exec to develop and manage a steady stream of high quality creative content to distribute across organic and paid channels as well as our website.
- Organic channels: Working closely with our Marketing Exec to build on and execute an effective content marketing strategy that positions us as the category leader.
