The job profile is for the position of Competitive Intelligence (CI) & Insights Internship role, 12-month contract role.

Our CI & Insights team is part of the wider Marketing team and plays a key role in providing insights to different areas of the business. Our team supports internal stakeholders with insights about our competitors, brokers, clients, and customers. Our goal is to always deliver actionable insights which enable our stakeholders to take informed decisions.

The Role
The CI & Insights Intern will develop our centralised portal for insights and build an engagement plan to give it the right visibility. This role will also support our research projects from survey creation to reporting working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors. This role will report to the CI and Insights lead analysts.
Overall Responsibilities:
Competitor Intelligence:
Partner with internal colleagues and external vendors to identify and monitor competitor activities, new technologies, emerging threats, and opportunities. Support CI lead analyst on priority projects/deliverables.
Be co-responsible for the ongoing management of the CI online dashboard including - liaising with key market stakeholders to support in their usage of the dashboard, managing contact list and distribution of weekly CI alerts, tracking utilisation of CI dashboard, and suggesting ways to improve its effectiveness.
Support the CI function by sourcing and analysing publicly available competitor and market information including what makes our competitors different.
Develop compelling presentations to share with business stakeholders.
Insights:
Be the person managing our Insights portal, the internal website where all insights are centralised.
Organise the portal to show relevant reports in each market and ensure it offers an easy-to-use solution for our internal colleagues. Structure the content in a clear and logical way and ensure the website is up to date with all our latest reports.
Work on an engagement plan for our Insights portal’s visibility and ensure the latest reports reach our internal colleagues. Ensure our portal is part of the monthly updates to the business and build a plan for engaging colleagues with insights (e.g. newsletter, internal communications).
Support the delivery of insights surveys among brokers, clients, and customers. This includes for example annual satisfaction surveys, Brand Health Trackers, and communications testing. Typical activities will include:
Questionnaire creation: work with stakeholders to create new or adapt existing questionnaires based on requirements and make sure our surveys keep up to date with the latest business needs.
Survey distribution: consolidate and validate contact lists from different markets and for different audiences. Use survey tools to upload contact lists and send the surveys to our brokers, clients, and customers. Monitor the progress of the response rate and take appropriate actions to meet targets.
Data analysis: capture key insights emerging from survey feedback. This may involve analysing large quantity of data and distill into the key learnings.
Reporting: help the creation of reporting ensuring our presentations are in line with stakeholders’ expectations and business needs.
Provide support to the team for ad-hoc requests as required.

Proficient in both written and spoken English; other European language a plus.
