Job description
Person Specification
This role is within a small team, often working without supervision - you must have a positive "can do" attitude to your work and the ability and willingness to act on your own initiative. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to break large tasks down into achievable goals and to prioritise your workload effectively. Above all, you should have a willingness to learn.
You should have excellent office skills and be confident in the use of email, word processing software, simple spreadsheets and be able to use database systems, as our business relies heavily on a purpose-designed Content Management System. You should have an excellent phone manner, as you will be taking calls and dealing with enquiries and clients. You should be well organised, effective in working to deadlines and able to prioritise your general workload while responding to requests as they arise.
You should be equally confident in communication with clients and leads as you are with performers, agents & suppliers, presenting enthusiastically, professionally and confidently at all times.
To support our marketing drive, some experience of Marketing/Social Media is desirable (eg Mailchimp, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn).
You should be willing to assist with duties outside of the office environment as the need arises - eg assisting with readying costumes and props for collection by event personnel. You may also be asked to attend events from time to time, in which case expenses will be provided as appropriate.
Working Hours
This is a part time role, 16 hours per week paid at £10.50 per hour.
Base working hours are 10am - 2pm, Monday to Thursday - requests for an alternative pattern / flexible working will be considered
