The position of Marketing Intern has become available at RBH Hospitality Management. Reporting to our Marketing Director and Marketing Manager, this is a perfect opportunity if you’re looking for a placement with a fun, well-established team at Head Office Glasgow.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MARKETING EXECUTIVE AT RBH HEAD OFFICE
In your role as Marketing Intern at RBH, you will be supporting the Marketing Director and broader marketing team, whilst assisting several hotels across the RBH portfolio. You’ll be in charge of the day to day management of the performance reporting for all of our key marketing levers. The role also includes the opportunity to perfect your copywriting skills by creating marketing emails and updating hotel websites. Hybrid working can be arranged to allow you split your time between working in the office and working from home.
You may have some marketing experience or be starting out in your career. If you have a solid interest in hospitality and travel, we would love to hear from you. You will be joining a small team of marketers and have lots of opportunity to learn, develop and grow
You can expect your working day to include the following duties.
- Manage the central marketing reporting document
- Create compelling copy and update the hotel website content using Umbraco, Square Space CMS
- Create social media content plans, posts and guidance documents
- Create an email calendar along with build and send of emails
- Create initiatives to drive data capture for the hotels
- Assist the wider marketing team with project tasks
- Work with the hotel to support on photoshoots and filming
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Strong communication skills
- Effective decision-making skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent social media awareness and knowledge
- Creative copy writing skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Passionate about Hotels, Restaurants and Bars and Travel
DESIRABLE
- WordPress, Umbraco (or similar CMS) experience is an advantage
- Dot Digital (or similar CRM system) experience is an advantage
- High level of organisation and the strong ability to juggle many projects simultaneously
- Eager to follow and introduce new trends and tools
- Beginner / intermediate knowledge of InDesign / Photoshop
- Experience managing social media campaigns, or working alongside an agency
