Job Title: Marketing Graduate

Job Purpose
We are seeking an enthusiastic marketing graduate to join our Team at Lucy Electric.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated self-starter who is looking to learn, build their knowledge and work closely with others to make a difference within the marketing function.
This is a 2-year fixed term contract where a graduate will be taken on a development journey through the key departments and capabilities of marketing our portfolio of products.
Job Context
It starts within Market Intelligence - researching the future directions of our industry, markets and customers.
This is followed by a rotation into Product Management, ensuring that the Market Intelligence is incorporated into sales, marketing and operational processes. A further rotation will take you into the Sustainability Team to develop an extensive insight into the critical requirements and opportunities that sustainability brings to our organisation.
For the final rotation there are options to either build further understanding within operational teams to understand the operational fundamentals, or work within the Corporate Marketing Team to help drive external and internal communications that deliver our organisational and marketing strategies.
This role will have the opportunity to work within one of our international locations for a short period of time to help develop an understanding and capability around operating in an international context. We require the successful graduate to get stuck in and gain exposure to all aspects of marketing within the Company.
Job Dimensions
This role will report to the Director, Future Networks and will transition through different teams within the marketing department, covering all areas, as well as working with other departments throughout the Company. You will take part in specific training courses as part of each rotation, these are listed on the program outline and will be invaluable to your personal development.

Key Accountabilities
These will include:
- Contribute to the drafting of policies, procedures, and related guidelines within an area of expertise to meet defined key principles and ensure compliance with external requirements.
- Analyse specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. Solutions could be technical or professional in nature.
- Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
- Deliver specified outcomes and provide others with expert advice while working within established marketing programs
- Identify the products or services that best meet the customer's stated needs, use personal expertise to propose quantities and product configurations, explain the selection to the customer, and invite the customer to make a purchase at the standard price/terms and conditions of sale.
- Provide operational support services.
- Track progress against budgets within established finance systems and report variances to more senior colleagues.
- Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
- Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Deliver small project workstreams, carrying out specified project activities within defined time and quality parameters and ensuring adherence to the prescribed project management methodology
- Identify, within the team, instances of non-compliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them.
- Applies knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals. For example, shows considerable business insight, beyond the fundamentals. Asks probing questions and draws on a variety of sources to gain insight and to explore business drivers or industry trends.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- While this is a marketing role, we are open to graduates from any academic background with a 2:1 or above at degree level.
- Strong customer focus skills; ability to build relationships and delivery customer centric solutions.
- Manages complexity; analyse complex situations and unpicks information to effectively solve problems.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Experience of putting together effective and efficient processes.
- Action orientated.
