Barbour EHS have a brand new vacancy for a Marketing Executive to join the Marketing team, in a home based role with travel to our divisional offices in London, Birmingham and Newcastle when required. This is full time permanent position paying up to £28,000.

The Marketing Executive will assist the Marketing Manager with designing, creating and executing marketing projects. This will require creativity, a commercial mind and an analytical eye.
The aim is to raise awareness of our brand and services, reach out to new audiences, generate high-quality leads for new business, promote the brand as thought leaders in the industry, and engage with our existing clients to aid client retention.
What will you do?
- Provide input and ideas for marketing strategies, activity plans and campaigns
- Manage social media channels – LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook:
- Create and schedule posts
- Respond to comments
- Engage with our audience as the brand
- Monitor activity and analytics
- Website content management, including:
- Adding blog posts
- Editing products and pages
- Changing banners
- Produce written copy for use across different mediums and platforms
- Assist with the coordination of monthly webinars
- Research new partnerships (internal and external) and maintain existing marketing partnerships
- Coordinate promotional activities, e.g. paid media, interviews, exhibitions and events
- Monitor progress and performance of campaigns using various metrics
- Assisting with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), including:
- Optimising web copy in line with recommendations
- Working with external agency
- Measuring and tracking analytics
- Protect the brand and ensure guidelines are always adhered to
- Manage the marketing and enquiries inbox and respond as appropriate
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the teams
- Marketing administration, e.g. filling out online profiles, managing email opt outs
What you will need to do the job
- An understanding of GDPR and data protection principles
- Good copywriting skills
- Experience in using marketing software (e.g. Mailchimp, CRM systems, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pardot)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Creative and commercial awareness
- Good understanding of marketing data analysis and reporting
- Strong proofreading skills and high attention to detail is key
- Existing industry knowledge or SaaS is a big plus
- 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing role
