Member-Get-Member (MGM) is one of our largest digital acquisition channels in the UK, and has seen outstanding growth across the last seven years. This success has been driven by continuous innovation and test and learn, and has had a global impact on our MGM strategy.
This Marketing Executive, Digital Capabilities role will drive MGM forward our largest acquisition channel, by taking ownership of the customer journey and by partnering closely with Marketing and Technology to improve customer experience, launch new capabilities, further develop existing capabilities and devise new ways to target, segment and grow.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Implement the current MGM Strategy for growth and contributing innovative insights
- Drive acquisition through the launch of innovative capabilities that encourage our Cardmembers to refer and our Prospects to apply e.g increased personalization
- Improve efficiency through delivery against key metrics (bounce rates, submit rates, conversion rates etc.)
- Maintain and own the channel, to ensure that MGM offers are running efficiently
- Partner closely with Enterprise, Digital & Analytics teams (EDDS) to enhance the end-to-end experience and to support the next generation of MGM program priorities
- Lead the UK Test & Learn programme, by prioritising volume driving tests and initiatives and by supporting the testing of new segments, channels and partner-value offerings to expand customer reach and engagement
- Handle the marketing capabilities of the American Express Referral Program i.e. web pages, Prospect and Cardmember offers, UX design and marketing content
- Co-ordinate international capability implementation projects
Essential Skills:
- Strong campaign and/or project management experience, including implementation and innovation
- A level of technical competency - you may describe yourself as 'tech savvy'
- A highly motivated and positive, can- do attitude
- Adaptable to change and able to deliver against challenging targets
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, incredible attention to detail
- Strong relationship building skills, able to collaborate and influence to get consensus on new insights
- Solid understanding of card economics and financial concepts, e.g. ROI
- Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word
