Please note due to the requirement to work from our office in Kemble 1-2 days per week we are looking for candidates within a 1 hour commute to SN16 9SH.

As part of the Outdoor and Cycle Concepts group, Cotswold Outdoor is joined by Runners Need and Snow + Rock to support outdoor enthusiasts by providing excellent customer service and a range of products from world leading brands, all whilst promoting and encouraging sustainability!
How will you make an impact?
- Supporting seasonal and annual marketing and communication planning and delivery including building creative briefs and delivering assets to stakeholders and owners.
- Development and delivery of the content calendar which will support email plans, social media, blogs, digital and events.
- Managing day-to-day press activities including responding to ad-hoc requests, kit orders, reviewing and approving press releases or quotes and providing support on planning of PR events and in-store visits.
- Assessing content creation opportunities and influencers in conjunction with our social media agency/team.
- Supporting the delivery and execution of events and run clubs including briefing assets, building comms plans, competitions, brand promotions and leveraging event channels to maximise opportunities to see for our brands.
- Using available data to continuously report, review and grow return on investment and brand engagement through marketing activities.
- Liaising with our contracted ambassadors to maximise value of partnership.
Please note this role is 40 hours per week.
You’ll fit right in if you have:
- Experience working in a marketing role
- Knowledge of PR, media, and events
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively, influence others, and take the lead where needed
- An understanding of all stages in the creative briefing and production process
- Experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- A reasonable commute to our office in Kemble with the ability to work there 1-2 days per week
