Period/Terms: Full time (5 days) / Part-time considered (4 days)


Remuneration:
£30,000 to £35,000 - pa (pro-rated for part-time)


Location:
This is a hybrid role with role, home based, with regular days in our London office (1-2 days per week) and occasional travel to business conferences and to visit our partner colleges UK-wide (6-8 days per year)

Senior Marketing Manager


This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who has worked for 3+ years in a marketing or events role, either within education or with a small or medium sized organisation.


We are seeking someone who is confident in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders and capable of managing relationships with marketing teams at our partner colleges and leading on planning and organising corporate events.


This is a hands-on role, requiring direct knowledge of a range of marketing tools and platforms. You should have experience of managing external relationships and event management.


You should keen to develop your skills as part of a friendly team in an innovative, rapidly growing business.


Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the role will involve managing and coordinating marketing activities for Mindful Education, both across college partners and for Mindful Education’s own corporate marketing, including corporate events.


Responsibilities – partner marketing

  • Working with our college partners to manage marketing campaigns to recruit learners onto the colleges’ courses and apprenticeships, including paid and organic campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, AdWords and LinkedIn
  • Measuring and reporting on performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Directly managing relationships with marketing and admissions teams across selected college partners

Responsibilities – Mindful Education corporate marketing

  • Working with the Director of Marketing, lead on planning, organising and admin for corporate and internal events
  • Working with the Senior Marketing Manager, assist with the delivery of the company website development plan, assisting with regular website updates
  • Working with the Senior Marketing Manager, assist with the administration of our Customer Relationship Management software (Hubspot)
  • Plan and deliver effective email communication campaigns to a range of audiences
  • Assist the Employer Engagement team with creating marketing material for our employer audience

Skills and Experience

The candidate must possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • 3+ years in a marketing or events role, ideally within education or a small or medium sized organisation
  • Experience of planning and organising corporate events
  • Experience of general marketing activities such as blog writing, updating websites, email campaigns and paid online advertising
  • An inherent dedication for quality, high standards and detail
  • A “can do” attitude, determination and a readiness to roll up their sleeves
  • Must be collaborative, solutions-driven and also able to work autonomously

The following skills, experience and attributes would be an advantage to applicants:

  • Experience of working in the education or technology sectors
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent or holds a relevant level 4 marketing qualification
  • Qualifications and formal training in marketing, such as a professional marketing qualification or a degree in marketing
  • More than 4 years’ experience in a marketing or events role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of a customer service environment
