About the role

We are hiring a Marketing Director to join our growth department on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

The overall objective for the Marketing Director position, is to deliver effective marketing campaigns that drive sales, increase our brand awareness, and build customer loyalty.

You will implement initiatives that drive new business and lifecycle opportunities through lead generation, leveraging diverse marketing channels in an agile, data led way.

Things you will be doing:

  • As a Marketing Director, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement adaptable strategies that align with company goals while considering the competitive landscape, budgetary considerations, and channel understanding.
  • You will manage multiple projects and stakeholders, collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, and create campaigns that engage the target audience and secure new opportunities.
  • Extracting insights from data and using creativity to identify differentiators and gaps across services will be crucial. Understanding our consultancy's offering, industry changes, and the market will guide effective content and event themes, and your contributions to the company's overall approach to the markets will be highly valuable.

Your Experience:

  • You are a passionate B2B marketer with proven experience operating at the 'Marketing Director' level.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal storytelling ability, including synthesising insights and ideas into simple, succinct narratives.
  • You can understand complex considerations and frame them simply to drive collective understanding, alignment, and decision-making.
  • You have a high level of business acumen, balancing program delivery against a budget, and the ability to pull the right levers across the growth marketing funnel.
  • You're passionate about staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and you're ready to evolve a data-led, multi-channel marketing strategy from inception through execution.
  • You showcase strategic and hands-on experience across the full marketing mix and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to build strong relationships.
  • You use data and analytics to measure the impact of marketing initiatives in a meaningful way, always iterating on strategy and knowing when to stop, start, or scale.
  • You also have experience managing the implementation of new marketing processes, ensuring that they are effectively communicated and adopted by all relevant stakeholders.
