Providing invaluable support to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll help ensure the Aldi personality is always unique, powerful and consistent in the marketplace.

We have a fantastic opportunity available for an Internal Features Reporter to join our team at the Aldi Head Office in Atherstone. The position is a fixed term contract to cover a 12-month period.
The successful canidate will be working collaboratively with Buying, HR, National Sustainability, and various other project teams, you will be responsible for effectively communicating messages, projects and initiatives to our colleagues in the UK and Ireland.

Your New Role:
- Creating ideas, conducting research, developing content, and writing articles for publication to all Aldi colleagues
- Liaising and building strong relationships with our agencies to ensure timely delivery and accuracy in materials produced
- Working across the business to identify opportunities for new content
- Support the team to ensure Aldi colleagues are kept up to date on the latest strategy updates and business performance, and relevant business news
- Ensuring that Aldi colleagues are connected and engaged, reducing barriers to communicate openly and transparently through the internal colleague app (MyALDI)
- Identifying opportunities to boost colleague engagement through the effective execution and delivery of the targeted Communications Plan
- Feedback colleague engagement metrics and responses to the appropriate channels for action
- Continual development of MyALDI and other communication channels
- Control, publish and constantly evolve colleague forums
About You:
- Previous experience as a journalist, reporter, or written content creator
- Experience of reviewing existing systems and processes to identify issues and develop recommendations
- Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with senior stakeholders, customers, and external parties
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and re-prioritise workload, in a constantly evolving and reactive environment
- Able to manage a varied workload, conflicting deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
- Organised with an excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Able to investigate, analyse and challenge appropriately
- Ability to work individually and as part of a wider team
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Skilled in project management
- Professional experience in Internal Communications or a role that requires a high level of accuracy
What You’ll get in Return:
- Salary starting £34,690 rising to £40,510
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working
