This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for an internship marketing & customer service role within a fast-paced, rapidly-growing e-commerce business. The candidate will learn how the business operates across a variety of marketing channels, as well as interacting with customers through a number of different avenues.
This candidate will work closely with the Marketing Manager across a variety of marketing activities, including, but not limited to, SEO, paid media, social & content, and product development. Working as part of a small, close-knit team, this is a hands-on role with plenty to do. Initially this role will be supported & mentored, but over time the candidate should feel comfortable with a certain level of autonomy within their role.
This candidate will also work with the customer service team, providing support on a regular basis. This may include answering queries over email & telephone, as well as some administrative tasks.
For this role, you should be undertaking a business or marketing undergraduate course, and be looking for a sandwich placement as part of your degree.
Role
- The marketing element of this role is broad, but with a core focus on product development & marketplace management. This role will give you the opportunity to get stuck in & learn how to use new marketing channels.
- Work with our in-house designer & external parties to bring to market new product design ideas.
- Coordinate seasonal social & content plans.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to develop & launch new product marketing plans.
Assisting the Marketing Manager with other marketing tasks & other channel activity when required.
- The customer service part of this role is focused on providing customer support over email & on the phone, but there will also be administrative duties to support customer service activities.
