We now have a fantastic opportunity for a keen and experienced marketer to join the Retail Marketing Team at a time of exciting growth in a dynamic, passionate and ever-evolving marketing landscape.

As Coordinator for all Beaverbrooks Retail Promotions, Product and Brand-Partner marketing, supporting the Retail Marketing Manager, this role is central to these projects, ensuring all activity is project-managed, delivered on time, and reported on in a timely manner.

Regular office presence required with option of hybrid working, to discuss at interview.

Main Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

  • Project management of all marketing promotions in our calendar, from national multi-channel promotions to local level store-specific activities (new store openings, media campaigns etc), as well as various new product launches.
  • Forecasting and anticipating projects in the schedule, continually planning ahead and communicating with teams involved.
  • Writing project briefs, defining objectives, mapping out timelines and milestones, securing approvals as required per project.
  • Stakeholder management across the business; holding teams accountable to commitments and deadlines, including internal creative, multi-channel and operational teams, senior stakeholders and external suppliers/agencies.
  • Admin such as writing internal company comms, and producing post-campaign reports.
  • Working closely with a portfolio of globally recognised brand-partners, to build and deliver strong marketing plans.
  • Hosting various multi-department planning and status meetings to coordinate projects and teams, with effective time-management and actions defined.
  • Various Intranet, systems, central team inbox management, budgeting and calendar admin.
  • Potential travel required to external agencies and / or stores across the estate.

Retail Promotions

  • In addition to above, owning the calendar of activity, status reports and stakeholder meetings for all retail marketing campaigns, store-specific marketing projects and promotions – ensuring they are always kept up to date and changes are communicated.
  • Supporting our growing and evolving store network through considered and effective local-level store promotional campaigns, coordinating with our store teams, internal Retail team and departments as required.

Product launches and Brand-Partner activity

  • Project managing product launch campaigns centrally, from initial brief through to launch, ensuring the continual progression of all projects in the product launch calendar; forecasting briefs and continually planning ahead.
  • Working alongside our Creative teams, Buying teams, and internal product marketing and eCommerce teams, navigating timelines, milestones and objectives, to ensure delivery of strong and effective product launches and marketing campaigns through the year.
  • First point of contact for a portfolio of globally recognised brand-partners, responsible for developing calendars and proposals of activity which supports both ours and our partners objectives, and delivers effective marketing results.

Reporting and analysis

  • Preparing regular department and project reports including multi-channel and business performance, analysing performance against objectives set.
  • Coordinating thorough post-campaign reports, documenting feedback/learnings for future application.
  • Identifying trends and insights from reports to inform future activity.
The Ideal Candidate

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Demonstrable project management experience with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Passion for retail and marketing industries, adding insights and suggestions for new opportunities.
  • Highly organised and self-sufficient, able to manage own workload, and also delegate when needed.
  • Enthusiastic and positive approach and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proven attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator with ability to listen and influence at different levels.
  • Creative thinker, confidence to speak up and challenge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – with particular focus on Excel.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Experience in retail and / or marketing agency/department background.
  • A marketing qualification would be beneficial for this role; however we will consider candidates who can instead prove their marketing know-how and passion from their relevant experience.
  • Experience in a customer service role or similar.
  • An interest/ability in data and reporting to inform stronger marketing campaigns – training can be provided with Excel and data analytics.
