Wyldfire PR and Marketing Ltd are recruiting for an experienced, proactive and highly motivated Marketing Assistant.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work closely with internationally recognised brands in this established 10+ years consultancy.

The role is to work alongside the Account Director to assist in the development and execution of ongoing marketing and PR strategies.

Excellent written and communication skills are essential alongside social media management experience. You will work with the Wyldfire team to undertake work including media liaison, social media, content creation, events, online presence, e-marketing and reporting.

This is a hybrid position so our candidate must be comfortable working remotely as well in our Adlington office. There will also be the requirement to travel to our other UK-based offices in Kendal and Cheshire on an ad hoc basis.

JOB SPEC:

  • Support the Marketing and Commercial Teams by undertaking tasks to ensure coordination of the department’s activities.
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns that align with the overall marketing strategy and target the appropriate B2B or B2C audiences.
  • Assist in creating compelling written and visual content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, email campaigns, social media, and newsletters.
  • Collaborate with the team to generate ideas, conduct research, interview and develop engaging content that resonates with the desired target audience.
  • Support the development and growth across all social platforms and enhance brand visibility through creative and strategic social media campaigns.
  • Monitoring social media platforms for engagement and responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage Google My Business Profiles, ensuring all channels are fully optimized in line with companies marketing strategy.
  • Manage automation channels to ensure the correct workflows are in place and are being used to the maximum potential.
  • Collaborating with the Commercial and Technical Teams to ensure that marketing campaigns, marketing collateral and activities align with the overall sales strategy and support the sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the internal and external teams to ensure brand consistency across all communication channels. Ensure adherence to brand standards in all communications materials.
  • Plan and execute email campaigns in line with company objectives.
  • Manage email lists, creating targeted email content that engages with the audience.
  • Creating and optimising website content to drive organic traffic to the website, improve conversions and support SEO strategy.
  • Monitoring website analytics and tracking key metrics such as page views and conversion rates to optimise website content.
  • Use data analysis tools such as Google Analytics and marketing automation software to track and analyse marketing performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyse social media metrics to track performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Confident and professional communication skills.
  • Confident in both copy writing and content creation.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Experience managing social media accounts for business purposes and an understanding of social media platforms.
  • Digital Marketing experience.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Experience in Lifestyle, Life Science, Interiors, Furniture, Homewares and/or Food marketing is desirable.
