Shopoff Realty Investments is looking for the absolute best and brightest to join our team of dedicated professionals as a Junior Marketing Coordinator at our home office in Irvine, California.
What you will do:
The Junior Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the members of the Marketing team in the planning, coordination, and execution of Shopoff’s marketing initiatives and programs. This role will assist in coordinating, developing, and executing marketing efforts, including social media content, maintaining the company website, editing video content, event coordination, campaign reporting, and management of marketing calendars.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with the VP of Marketing and Senior Marketing Coordinator to implement an integrated marketing strategy to promote Shopoff Realty Investments and its affiliate companies.
- Contribute information and ideas to the strategy process.
- Create and manage monthly reports on marketing performance and budgets.
- Assist in the creation, scheduling, and management of content for social media with a heavy emphasis on LinkedIn.
- Assist in managing and updating the company website.
- Assist with event coordination, booking travel and facilitating client dinners.
- Manage the process with the sales team to provide conference materials.
- Facilitate compliance review process with the compliance department for marketing materials to adhere to regulatory agency guidelines.
- Collect and analyze distribution lists and campaigns and provide reports on performance.
- Provide support to the marketing department with administrative and marketing-specific duties.
- Perform market and client research.
- Other ad hoc duties.
What we need:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- 1-2 years’ experience in marketing or equivalent education
- Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Firm grasp on various marketing tactics, platforms, and channels.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proofreading.
Qualifications
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Comfortable with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong writing and copy-editing abilities.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and desire for continuous learning.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Highly desired, but not required:
- Knowledge and experience utilizing social media platforms for business, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Digital advertising, including Google AdWords experience.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere).
- Digital photography and video editing experience.
- Experience with WordPress and website development.
