Marketing Coordinator

Business Brief
The SCE Group keeps British manufacturing moving through its two separate companies: Street Cranexpress Ltd and bxh Ltd.

Street Cranexpress are the UK’s national overhead crane service provider, with over 50 years’ experience in servicing and repairing overhead cranes. Bxh are stockists of industrial control, drives, and automation products with over 40 years’ experience in advising on and supplying electrical components.

The Role
You will be joining our growing Marketing team with a varied and creative role including social media, ecommerce, email marketing, and more.

Duties of the Role

• Work closely with the Marketing Supervisor to develop and deliver marketing collateral and campaigns.
• Provide marketing support to the teams in the SCE Group, including document templates, product labelling, office branding, and more.
• Ongoing maintenance of bxh Ltd.’s website: bxh.co.uk
• Updating content
• Uploading products to bxh Ltd.’s website
• Data-scraping and liaising with manufacturers for product data.
• Google Merchant Centre Maintenance
• Regular checks of product feed, resolving any issues identified.
• Ensuring uploaded products are successfully added to Merchant Centre.
• Optimising of product feed to ensure best performance.
• Reporting
• KPIs will be discussed and agreed upon with you.
• You will provide monthly and weekly reports on the effectiveness of Marketing efforts.
• Monitor and react to performance, driving initiatives to increase conversion and KPIs.
• Ad hoc marketing support
• Flexible role which will adapt to the business and may include support for wider marketing activities: email, social media, video, print, merchandising, online advertising, and more.

Skills RequiredEssential

• Experience in B2B marketing
• Excellent written and verbal skills liaising with Marketing department, management, and manufacturers.
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to work well using own initiative.
• Enthusiasm, energy, determination and a passion for ecommerce and all things digital.
• Quick comprehension, attention to details and a fast learner, who is not afraid to ask questions.
• The ability to think proactively, prioritize, and escalate issues when needed.

Desirable

• Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience of digital marketing techniques (email, PPC, search).
• E-commerce/CMS platform experience.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent working knowledge of programs e.g., Google Analytics.
