Job Summary
Impact corporate store comparative sales and PSAs at the restaurant, area and market levels by planning and executing effective local store marketing programs, community-related events, in-store promotions, and team member incentives and contests. *Candidates should reside in one of the following cities; Kansas City, St. Louis, Charlotte, Raleigh or Greensboro*
Duties and Responsibilities
Act as primary resource and educator in all local store marketing techniques and sales-building initiatives. Coach and assist General Managers and Area Supervisors on these techniques and initiatives through “on the job” demonstrations as well as class and workshop training.
Develop and coordinate local community involvement programs. Act as a point of contact in coordinating all market-level public relations campaigns including sponsorships, school lunch programs, etc. Develop rapport with local community chamber of commerce, schools, charities, and civic organizations in the market while identifying sales opportunities.
Assist supervisors in the development of specific, written local store marketing action plans for each of their stores.
Track, evaluate and report results of all community and local store promotions to the District Manager, OVP, and the Field Marketing Manager on a weekly basis.
Gain approval for all program expenses with Sr. Director of Corporate Marketing and District Manager.
Inform and involve the operations team in planned local community events.
Spend at least 80% of work-related hours actually “in the field” coaching and assisting operators on local marketing initiatives, establishing and maintaining community contacts, and participating in local sales-building activities.
Communicate “best practice” localized sales-building programs/events to Field Marketing Manager and operations team on a regular basis.
Maintain a rolling 4-week planning schedule, update weekly, and submit to Field Marketing Manager.
Submit a weekly impact summary sheet detailing actions taken and progress seen to the Field Marketing Manager.
Maintain a “best practices” file of local sales-building initiatives that is constantly updated and submitted once per quarter for review by the Field Marketing Manager.
Provide timely and accurate completion of any administrative work requested by the Field Marketing Manager, including schedules, expense reporting, and performance summaries.
