The National Federation of Fish Fryers (NFFF) is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Coordinator. The leading trade association representing the fish and chip industry in the UK, the NFFF plays a vital role in promoting and supporting the interests of our members and raising awareness about the nation's favourite dish. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement digital marketing strategies: execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns, leveraging various online channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and content marketing.

Manage social media presence: Create engaging content, manage social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn), and actively monitor and respond to comments and messages to build brand awareness and maintain a positive online reputation.

Content creation and management: Produce high-quality and compelling content for digital platforms, including website pages, blog posts, articles, email newsletters, and press releases. Ensure all content is optimized for search engines and aligns with the organization's brand and messaging.

Website management: Oversee the NFFF website, ensuring it is up-to-date, visually appealing, and user-friendly. Regularly update content, monitor performance metrics, and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.

Email marketing campaigns: Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to engage and nurture the NFFF's audience. Create segmented email lists, design visually appealing templates, and monitor campaign performance through analytics.

Data analysis and reporting: Utilise analytical tools to monitor the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts, and track website traffic, engagement metrics, and conversion rates. Generate regular reports to evaluate campaign performance and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices. Identify opportunities for innovation and growth and make recommendations for new strategies and tactics to enhance the NFFF's digital presence.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience in digital marketing, preferably in the food industry or related sector.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, tools, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in social media management, content creation, SEO, and email marketing.
  • Experience with website management, including content updates, SEO optimization, and performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing strategies.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
