Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Assistant who is used to working in a fast paced, busy environment, with a creative flair? You will work on a broad range of marketing activities, working with multiple B2B companies under one roof. Would you like to work for this fantastic business who have an outstanding team culture and like to be kept busy, then this is the role for you! Hours Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm with one hour for lunch. Salary £22,000 rising to £23,000 after completion of probationary period.
The Role:
- The role as Marketing Assistant is to support and assist the Marketing Team in daily marketing.
- Assist and help to implement the organisation's marketing strategy and campaigns.
- Work with the marketing team to plan, create and monitor of marketing materials including catalogues, direct mail, social media, PR, videos, sales literature and e-marketing material.
- You will participate in copy writing including articles, web content, promotional literature, product descriptions.
- Supporting the Marketing Manager and liaising with departmental Managers and the design team
- Maintain databases and extracting data.
- Work with other departments internally to effectively distribute and communicate key information
- Work to help develop and maintain social media accounts and websites
- General administrative duties.
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar role in marketing would be advantageous,or hold a relevant marketing qualification.
- Must have the ability to multitask and prioritise own workload.
- Confident communicator on the phone and via email.
- Good at multitasking, have a high attention to detail and can work in a fast-paced environment.
- Well organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team and to be proactive in work.
- Strong IT skillset with office packages.
- Creative thinker with a positive attitude.
