IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 14 million students worldwide, is seeking a Regional Marketing Associate to support the success of our East sales team. As Regional Marketing Associate, you will assist with the execution of marketing programs that support lead generation, customer retention, brand awareness, and more. You will serve as an advocate for the East sales team and play an essential role in helping them meet their goals alongside the Regional Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate is creative, motivated, and passionate about education.
This is a full time position with a hybrid work schedule in our Raleigh, NC office.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Assist with researching, developing, and executing marketing programs that are aligned with sales goals and initiatives in the region to retain existing customers and attract new customers
- Build an ongoing partnership with sales leaders to understand educator needs and provide general support for the International sales team
- Contribute to a wide range of marketing campaigns by writing copy and working cross-functionally on design and execution with different marketing stakeholders
- Act as the liaison with the email marketing team to ensure all outbound email deliverables are submitted and created on time
- Partner with the events team to manage logistics for marketing and sales events including pre/post event outreach, ensuring leads are being tracked internally, and the sales team has the proper tools for following up with contacts
- Maintain an active pulse on market trends in the region and share out regularly with marketing and sales
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- BA/BS degree
- 3-5 years experience in marketing, communications, or related field
- Interpersonal skills: You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
- You like to get things done, and get them done efficiently: You must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, deadline-oriented, organized, resourceful, and have the ability to coordinate projects from start to finish
- No challenge is too small: You have the ability to think critically, do research, be resourceful, and solve problems
- You have knowledge of, or an interest in, education/edtech and can learn about the industry quickly
