About the Role
In this role, you will drive best-in-class integrated marketing strategy and plans that build brand impact and drive growth in the UK & Ireland. You’ll be in charge of initiating and implementing insights-driven marketing plans to fuel consumer demand and strengthen Uber's connection with consumers.
What You'll Do
- Develop a strategic understanding of market priorities (business targets, P&L priorities, and segmentation), and generate marketing strategies and plans that align with both the market priorities and the global brand strategy.
- Drive the learning agenda with the research and analytics teams to uncover needed insights and measurement plans.
- Based on the global marketing strategy, develop, localize, and/or pulse up initiatives to align with market and regional strategies.
- Work with key stakeholders to develop and implement campaigns across owned and non-owned channels, including media, creative, research & insights, performance marketing, CRM, comms, etc.
- Help run partnerships with external partners and develop joint marketing activities and co-marketing plans.
Basic Qualifications
- Consumer marketing or related experience delivering work with measurable business results on time and on budget
- Experience working on 360° campaign development, including creative and media agency management
- Strong business sense and ability to think strategically and analytically
- A strong customer-centric demeanor, always thinking about how customers interact with the brand
- Curiosity and creativity, full of fresh ideas to generate user growth and build the brand
- Self-motivation and drive, with the ability to work well independently and within a group setting to push projects to completion
- Ability to succeed in an environment of ambiguity and capability to adapt positively to changing circumstances
- High bar for quality, efficiency, and delivering results
- A hands-on and dedicated approach to operationalize projects quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks without losing sight of the highest priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or similar - Advanced degree is a plus
- Experience working for a global brand
- Experience crafting regional marketing strategies and plans
