Job description
Working alongside (and reporting into) the Marketing Manager for Professional Horticulture, you'll play a key role in helping ICL as a brand remain market leader within its specific market segments and be able to take responsibility for marketing projects from start to finish.
You will be required to collaborate across most areas of the business, including technical, sales, and management teams, as well as being adept at handling relationships with our 3rd party agencies.
This is an exciting and varied opportunity that would suit a creative, self-motivated individual. The successful candidate will possess a solid background and/or understanding of marketing, preferably (but not essentially) in a B2B context.
Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities
Managing new ICL website: -
Researching, writing, and creating website content, including blogs, product pages, news articles, downloadable guides etc., suitable for B2B audiences and that adhere to company style and tone of voice
Ensuring that applicable content is well-optimised for SEO
Management of marketing campaigns from start to finish
Engaging with key stakeholders for the business (including designers, sales teams, management etc.) to ensure messaging is accurate and be aware of new products, projects and opportunities
Planning and implementing email campaigns for the T&O business
Manage and implement organic social media strategy
Involvement in creating video content, including story boarding, filming, editing, and uploading to various channels (YouTube etc.)
Help maintain image library and new Digital Asset Management system
Ensuring brand consistency across all platforms, activities, and customer touch points
Creating internal comms, including company newsletters
Involvement in creating offline marketing materials
Supporting sales teams with activity where appropriate
Collaborating with the wider Group Marketing team to communicate plans and objectives
About you
- Strong content writing skills across both digital and offline
- Experience in marketing environment prior to this role
- Ability to absorb information and understand the markets within which they work
- Solid understanding of the principles of digital marketing
- Experience of CRM systems is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
- Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritize and manage own workload
- A keen eye for detail to ensure all marketing materials are as accurate as possible
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
