Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing Assistant. As a Marketing Assistant, you will provide valuable support to the marketing team in executing various marketing initiatives and ensuring smooth marketing operations. Responsibilities:
Campaign Coordination: Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising. Help ensure campaigns are implemented effectively and on schedule.
Content Creation and Editing: Support the marketing team in creating and editing content for various marketing materials, such as blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, and website content. Ensure content is engaging, error-free, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Social Media Management: Assist in managing social media accounts, including content scheduling, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages. Help gather and analyze social media insights to optimize performance.
Market Research: Conduct research to gather market intelligence, industry trends, and competitor insights. Assist in analyzing data and providing recommendations to improve marketing strategies and tactics.
Analytics and Reporting: Collect and organize data from various marketing campaigns and initiatives. Assist in preparing reports and presentations that summarize key performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of marketing events, such as trade shows, conferences, and webinars. Assist in coordinating logistics, collateral preparation, and follow-up activities.
Marketing Collateral Management: Help maintain an organized inventory of marketing collateral, such as brochures, product catalogs, and promotional materials. Ensure collateral is up to date and readily available for distribution.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred. Relevant coursework or equivalent experience will be considered.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media scheduling tools, email marketing software).
Basic understanding of marketing principles and tactics, with a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proactive mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to contribute and take initiative.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is desirable but not mandatory.
