Heritage Cannabis is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the Marketing team in our growing company. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for digital marketing initiatives, as well as supporting our sales team and retailers with marketing at the store level.

The ideal candidate will have experience with newsletters, ad copywriting, social media, retail marketing, and an interest in the cannabis industry.

Marketing

  • Plan weekly newsletter content, strategize CTA’s, and incorporate feedback from the sales team on weekly marketing pushes and provincial delivery lists
  • Work with Marketing Manager to set KPIs and assess areas for improvement weekly with feedback from Marketing & Sales
  • Social Media Marketing. Work as team to identify marketing strategies for key social accounts. Setting goals, increasing followers, and engagement month over month. Working with designer to set monthly calendars and posting schedules full of engaging and compelling social content.
  • Assisting with major marketing initiatives: Working as a team to strategize new initiatives, creative marketing concepts, sourcing quotes, organizing distribution

Marketing Reporting

  • Tracking key metrics and providing monthly reports
  • Marketing budget tracking and annual reporting

Sales Team Support

  • Managing shipments of physical materials and swag to the sales team, sending digital marketing materials, as well as keeping internal files up to date
  • Promotional material ordering and inventory
  • Event planning - strategizing events, planning marketing material needs, budget allocations, and associated digital marketing needs (eblasts, social media)
  • Managing marketing support email inquiries and communications with retailers

Skills and qualifications

  • Experience working in marketing, design, communications, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, and strategies. Familiarity with various digital channels such as social media, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and online advertising.
  • Experience using digital marketing tools, such as email marketing software, social media management software, and Google analytics
  • Experience in managing social media accounts and creating social media strategies. Familiarity with different social media platforms, content scheduling, and reporting
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with the Adobe creative suite would be an asset
  • Experience with Wordpress and SEO would be an asset
  • Project Management and Commercial Support experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
