Job description
Provide administrative support to the Marketing Department, Special Events , Graphics, and Casino Host Areas.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or the equivalent.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Answers telephones and transfers calls to appropriate staff members.
2. Assists guests with any and all reasonable customer service requests.
3. Performs general clerical duties to include but not limited to typing, photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing.
4. Entering all purchase orders for marketing and managing all department invoices so they are paid on time
5. Manages all limo runs for the company, utilizing the company cars and an outside company as needed.
6. Responsible for sending out win/loss statements for members of the players club.
7. Procure bids from vendors for printed material, including proof reading, approvals and delivery of items for both properties.
8. Tracking progress of all marketing jobs to ensure deadlines are met, materials are received correctly and coordinates the installation and/or deliveries of materials.
9. Assist Special Events with all aspect of coordinating and working an event or promotion at both properties. Maintaining records and files for the events and promotions.
10. Proficient with the Internet to research ideas and gifts for promotions and special events.
11. Proficient in assembling gifts, organizing merchandise, and conducting inventory of merchandise.
12. Coordinate signage throughout the hotel and casino, which would include manually replacing signage on a continual basis for both properties.
13. Maintain coupons used for gaming packets for both properties.
14. Assist the players club when necessary at both properties.
15. Assist VIP guests and/or the Casino Hosts by understanding and applying the comp guidelines for complimentaries.
16. Understands and complies with all Policies and Procedures of the department.
17. Participates in departmental brainstorming meetings.
18. Other duties as assigned.

Working conditions. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke and high noise levels. Must work calmly and professionally in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Work may require night and/or early morning and weekend schedules.
Physical Requirements
Specialized Work Experience
1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol. Computer literate with emphasis on Word and Excel. Must be able to type 50 WPM. Ability to learn new software applications. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills. Position requires attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. This is normally acquired through a combination of a high school diploma or equivalent and two to four years of administrative experience.
3. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
4. Must be able to lift up to 30 lb and have the agility to bend up and down and stand for long periods of time.
