Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Email Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing team in executing successful email campaigns. As an Email Marketing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing various aspects of email marketing, including campaign setup, scheduling, list segmentation, and reporting. Your strong organizational skills, keen eye for detail, and ability to work collaboratively will contribute to the overall success of our email marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the setup, execution, and tracking of email marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather content, assets, and target audience information for email campaigns.
  • Conduct list segmentation and ensure accurate and up-to-date subscriber data in the email marketing database.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing email templates and graphics that align with brand guidelines.
  • Perform regular quality assurance checks to ensure error-free email content, including links, images, and personalization elements.
  • Monitor and analyze key email metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, and provide reports and insights to the team.
  • Assist in the management of email marketing calendars, ensuring timely delivery of campaigns and adherence to schedules.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in email marketing and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Assist in conducting A/B tests and implementing test strategies to improve campaign performance.
  • Support the implementation of email automation workflows and trigger-based campaigns.
  • Monitor and maintain email deliverability rates, manage unsubscribes, bounces, and spam complaints.
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations, such as CASL and CAN-SPAM.

Please note: This role is an in-office, 5 days/week role. It is NOT a remote or hybrid position. There will also be occasional participation at public events like tradeshows based on any team-based marketing initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, HubSpot) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit email content for accuracy and clarity.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to interpret email metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of email marketing regulations and best practices.
  • A proactive attitude, self-motivation, and willingness to learn.
