This is a Hybrid work-from-home position reporting to the office two days a week in Carrollton, Texas.

The Brand Marketing Coordinator, Leatherology is responsible for supporting the Brand Marketing Manager and department with writing strategic, innovative, accurate and customer-centric content and assisting with the day-to-day marketing planning for Leatherology.
Duties and responsibilities
These responsibilities are meant as a guide for core job functions but are by no means exhaustive:
- Marketing Campaign Coordination & Content Planning
- Assist Brand Marketing Manager in developing and maintaining Leatherology’s omni-channel marketing calendar.
- Prepare campaign marketing briefs, proposals, and storyboards for team and 3rd party partners assisting in asset creation.
- Create copy and partner with Visual Designer on developing digital and print marketing collateral including emails, short and long-form videos, direct mail catalogs, text ads, displays ads, etc.
- Plan and create content specifically for social media channels in partnership with Visual Designer and Visual Brand Manager. Moderate social properties by creating engaging content, responding to inquiries, and answering customer questions.
- Audit, proofread, and schedule marketing assets across paid, owned, and earned channels to ensure all deadlines and launch dates are met.
- Website Content Development & Optimization
- Maintain and create site editorial content (Blog, Campaign Landing Pages, About Us, etc.) and pertinent site information (FAQs, Resource Center, Contact Us, etc.) to ensure that information is accurate, up-to-date and adheres to SEO best practices.
- Monitor organic search metrics, maintain website metadata, titles, H1/H2 tags, etc., and analyze overall site content performance using tools such as Google Analytics and SEMRush.
- Research what content will be most effective based on customer feedback, 3rd party information, keyword research and competitive analysis.
- Continuously update, optimize, and create content to increase qualified organic traffic and improve SERP rankings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, merchandising, journalism, technical writing, or related field.
- 3+ years and experience in ecommerce marketing, content creation or related field.
- Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Accurate, outstanding eye for detail, and great organizational skills.
- Proactive and resourceful in solving problems, making decisions, and executing goals.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage deadlines.
- Enthusiastic and driven worker with a passion for ecommerce.
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization.
