MARKETING COORDINATOR (HYBRID, NEW YORK OR WASHINGTON DC)

The Marketing Coordinator will have primary responsibility for supporting the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and the Marketing Department in a wide variety of areas. The Marketing will assist with the coordination of marketing projects that are important to the department’s operations and processes. The Marketing Coordinator will schedule meetings, arranging travel, tracking budgets, preparing documents, and process expenses. The person in this role will also handle administration of the CLE (Continuing Legal Education) process and tracking. The Marketing Coordinator will assist with organizing and tracking charitable donations, investigating events’ venues and proposing options, assisting with events, coordinating internal communications postings, and coordinating the social media/website photo release process.

How You’ll Help Our Team Succeed
  • Coordinate charity sponsorships ensuring on time submissions, professional communications and help to see that Cornerstone Research is leveraging networking opportunities. Provide quarterly reporting on charitable donations along with an annual wrap-up report. Track spending versus budget.
  • Track, code, and submit invoices, adhering to all deadlines, and expediating payments as required.
  • Research and populate events calendars looking at least 12 months out.
  • Provide administrative support to the CMO by arranging and managing travel, scheduling meetings, processing expenses, and preparing documents.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of CLE rules and requirements for all states in which our employees have legal licenses/memberships, including submission deadlines, application and continuing education requirements. (no prior experience in CLE is needed)
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Marketing team as necessary.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • 2+ years of total experience which can include 1 year of marketing experience and/or 2 years of administrative experience supporting a marketing team.
  • The desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm’s financial and operational functions.
  • The mindset to provide superior service.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or other related area of study.
