ROLE: CRM & EMAIL MARKETING COORDINATOR

We’re looking for a teammate to join us full-time as a CRM & Email Marketing Coordinator. Code First Girls offer family-friendly, flexible working arrangements. We have an office in London (near Liverpool St) offering hybrid working/remote working (depending on your location) with in-person team meet-ups in London approx. twice a month plus ad hoc community events.

ABOUT YOU & THE ROLE

As CRM & Email Marketing Coordinator, you will take a starring role helping build our customer communications and support the CFG member community. You will be involved in our new learning platform and related comms, as well as building out workflows, automations and dynamic content options to deliver a successful CRM & email marketing programme.


We are looking for candidates who have a passion for driving social impact and a desire to change the technology industry. You will be excellent at communicating, think innovatively and be brimming with ideas to grow and build upon our existing comms and processes, as well as how to build on engagement with our CFG community members.

We want someone who isn’t afraid to suggest new things, is eager to learn and comes with loads of ideas as to how to create different ways to enhance our community experience through tech, networks and events


The role will be varied and will get you involved across all elements of our CRM Marketing. It would best suit someone with 3-4+ years experience in CRM email marketing role/s previously with a proven track record of driving growth and results.


SOME THINGS YOU’LL BE WORKING ON:


Product Email & Customer Comms:

  • Manage our email/SMS comms for our product user journeys and product lifecycles
  • Use tools such as MailChimp and Hubspot for email deployment, tracking and reporting
  • Build, measure and analyse member engagement driving activity, working closely with the wider marketing team to deliver end-to-end marketing campaigns
  • Be a champion for brand and best practice regarding customer communication, boosting brand awareness and loyalty with our audiences

Customer Journey & Lifecycle

  • Build out workflows, triggers and communication plans to engage segments at key lifecycle stages
  • Continually assess and iterate on all CRM activity across our potential customer bases and ensure performance across key metrics
  • Work with the wider team on member customer service, feedback reports and community insights to enhance and improve communications.

Marketing Automation, Optimisation & Reporting

  • Build out, test and optimise all marketing automation communication flows
  • Monitor and report on data and insights for campaigns and product marketing funnels
  • Improve funnel conversion and identify opportunities for growth or enhancing customer journeys
  • Work with marketing team for re-engagement campaigns and re-marketing efforts on products
  • Look for technology or innovations to drive efficiencies and further automation

Segmentation & Lifecycle

  • Work with the wider team on data and insights in relation to segmentation, funnels, and campaign activations
  • Map out customer segments, user experience and lifecycle for CFG members
  • Assist with building out B2B partner and client lifecycle comms

GENERAL SKILLS:

  • Previous experience and knowledge of CRM and marketing automation
  • Previous experience with Hubspot preferred
  • Experience in customer segments, user journeys and member lifecycles
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and email best practices (deliverability, GDPR)

  • Salary: £32k - £40k DOE + bonus
  • Fully-funded place on the Code First Girls CFGdegree (market value £10,000)
  • Free CFG courses (valued at £685 each)
  • 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Additional 10 days off over Christmas break
  • Hybrid & flexible working: we primarily work remotely, but anticipate hybrid & flexible working with an office base in London

STEPS IN THE PROCESS:

  • Shortlist from the video interview to meet with the CRM & Email Marketing Manager and Marketing Director
  • Final candidate/s wider team meet and greet / interview
