The CENTERS team is innovative, entrepreneurial, trail-blazing, and ambitious for both CENTERS and our clients. Today, CENTERS provides management services for 14 clients.
Responsibilities:
Job Summary
The Coordinator, Marketing and Communication supports the development and execution of the department's marketing plan to increase visibility, usage, revenue and sponsorship for the department. They will maintain consistency with brand standards and messaging across all marketing channels. The Coordinator will seek avenues for increasing the visibility of Mylan Park within the local area, state, and region.

This position will work on-site at our Mylan Park, West Virgina client location. Mylan Park owns, programs, leases, and manages over 350 acres of mixed-use recreation and wellness facilities for the Greater Morgantown community. The Aquatic Center includes a fully accessible 90,000 sq. ft. facility, featuring a zero-depth-entry six-lane community pool with water features and slides, an Olympic-sized competition swimming pool with a separate diving (spring and platform) pool, an outdoor splash pad, dynamic fitness room, outdoor track and so much more. With ample parking and gorgeous views, the Aquatic Center has become a local hub of sports tourism by hosting elite-level regional and national Aquatics and Track events.

Essential Functions
  • Collaborate on the development of comprehensive marketing plans; Assist in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives
  • Work as a collaborative part of the marketing team comprised of part-time staff and an Assistant Director of Marketing and Outreach to execute the marketing plan and achieve department goals
  • Understand and stay abreast of Mylan Park's programs and services
  • Manage social media channels; creatively utilize established platform-specific strategies, unique platform features, and content marketing
  • Develop and create marketing collateral for print, digital, and social media channels
  • Write proof, and edit copy as needed
  • Assist in managing and maintaining web content
  • Assist in tracking analytics of the communication efforts of the department; Analyze and report on effectiveness of digital content
  • Prepares and delivers required and requested reports and data to the client and CENTERS central office
  • Assist in the development and management of operational budgets and revenue targets
  • Represent the company in a professional manner consistent with Mylan Park and CENTERS goals and branding
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of work experience required
  • Experience with strategic communications through shareable social media content, writing/editing across applications preferred
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and editing abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Creative Cloud; familiarity with Mac programs and HTML is preferred

  • Must be able to traverse throughout the facility and park. Regularly ascending/descending building levels and occasionally ladders or stools.
  • Must be able to lift, move and set up items weighing as much as 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to discuss, converse with, and exchange accurate information with arena patrons, staff, stakeholders, etc.
