The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our brand & marketing team as a Graduate Marketing Assistant. This full time role offers a unique mix of operational marketing, trade marketing and social content creation, reporting directly to the Global Brand Director. With valuable exposure to multiple parts of the brand’s marketing mix, this role is perfect for those looking to get stuck in and gain varied experience in brand and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Helping the commercial team to drive brand awareness, equity and conversion through our trade partners.
- Ensuring the go-to-market assets/plans of brand initiatives are clearly communicated to internal teams and executed in-line with channel objectives Measuring the effectiveness of our activity through sell-in/sell-out analysis.
- Assisting the NPD director and Brand Manager in product ideation and creation of copy to support launches
- Pricing ladders, competitor analysis and ad hoc marketing presentation creation
- Ownership of the asset sharing platform with a focus on ease of navigation
- Being a key driver in the provision of training assets and tracking results
- Social Content generation to support brand social team, with a particular focus on creation and editing of video content.
- Regular support in Social Media Community Management to support social exec (including some out of office hours social work – with time reclaimed in working hours)
- Other administrative or marketing support, as required.
Activities could include, but are not limited to:
- Support of upper awareness campaigns with Brand Director
- Proximity to Product Manager to stay close to development of third part copy, and dissemination.
- Retail/sell-in analysis for key franchises and retailers to evaluate performance.
- Managing trade briefs through to completion
- Campaign activation through some media channels and retailers
- Oversight of product page assets and storefront assets for third-party and tw.com
- Weekly check-ins with account managers
- Working with Commercial & Training team to ensure retail excellence standards (frequency of visit from VM, updates, training, etc.)
- Support development of training content with Training team
- Liaison with creative teams or agencies to provide trade assets resized.
- Upkeep of trade presentation
- Shared ownership of S&M meeting with sales
- Creation of social content (candidate should be comfortable being on camera) as well as editing, scheduling, and community management.
- Focus channels of Instagram & TikTok
Skills & Background:
- Bachelors degree required
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Comfortable in social media with some experience in content generation and editing
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Interest in beauty and wellness space
- Interest in content production and learning how to use editing software.
- Self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to handle ambiguity.
