What is marketing; Marketing refers to activities a company undertakes to promote the buying or selling of a product or service.
Who we are; We are an ambitious, dynamic family run company based in Newtown, Powys. We are looking to recruit a new team member into our Customer Care team to deliver first class Customer Service to our growing customer base. Working between our fast paced Sales Team and Despatch team, we are looking for an agile individual to support the delivery of our most important Corporate goal – Customer#1.
What is the role; In a nutshell, this is an opportunity to create, update, and implement a marketing machine within a fast paced, family run business. The Marketing Executive will oversee the effective implementation of all planned marketing related activity and deliver marketing strategy in line with the company objectives. The role will support Cambrian Packaging’s customer acquisition and development targets, and as such will include input into the development of the overall marketing strategy. As part of this, the Marketing Executive will have significant involvement in future agency/supplier selection, negotiation, and management.
What are the hours; we are looking for someone to work around 25 hours a week but can offer a degree of flexibility within this for the right candidate.
What you will do;
Developing and implementing a marketing strategy
Competitor and market analysis; Working with the marketing agency, R&D and Sales manager to identify and target new industries and product ranges; Working with the external marketing agency to develop and implement a marketing strategy.
Overseeing and working with the external marketing agency
Providing information and suggestions for content creation; Content approvals plus design suggestions and approvals; Updating lead tracker to help fine tune the inbound enquiries.
Managing product data on the website
Arranging photography and Management of spec sheets; Reviewing and where necessary updating product information
Managing business stationary, branding of internal documents, and other branded consumables
Responsibility for stationery and consumables. For example, business cards and sample boxes; Branding internal documents; Customer gifts
Managing product launches
Liaising with R&D, sales, and the marketing agency to create a product launch strategy; Effective introduction of new product lines
Other internal activities
Point of contact for non-marketing related customer communications; Responsible for the accuracy and updating of customer industry classifications within ERP system; Creating monthly internal newsletter, attending trade shows, Organising trade shows

What experience you will need; Previous experience in a similar role, GCSE or equivalent in Maths & English Language, Able to use the full suite of Microsoft products at an intermediate level including the ability to set up and manage a spreadsheet
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
