Marketing and Communications Intern
This role offers the intern a total immersion into a busy marketing and social media career and the successful candidate will work closely with key members of staff, external social media consultants, and RE/MAX stakeholders to learn about social media, digital communications and marketing in a business to business and business to consumer environment. This role will be instrumental in increasing our social media presence and gaining visibility for our brand among consumers, recruits and current RE/MAX affiliates.

Essential Duties:
- Support community management of corporate Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest and Vimeo and YouTube accounts by posting valuable content and interacting with fans and followers
- Research and report on the latest trends in social media and digital and content marketing
- Create unique content for RE/MAX social media outlets and blog including but not limited to timely posts, engaging surveys, video, post copy matching brand voice, etc.
- Brainstorm monthly social media and blog content for RE/MAX affiliates and execute creative concepts
- Compose, design and post articles to the consumer and internal blogs
- Maintain a monthly calendar and ensure team deadlines are met
- Complete other social media and content projects as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
- Creative thinking and high motivation to learn is a must
- An interest in marketing, communications, social media or reputation management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional knowledge of mainstream social networks including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube
- Experience with social media management tools (Social Bakers, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) a plus
- Familiarity with graphic design tools and video editing software (Adobe Creative Cloud & Canva) is a plus
Hire Rate:
$16-$20/per hour - 40 hours per week (Hybrid role with possibility of 2 days in the office per week)
