Marine Thinking is seeking an individual looking to join an agile, dynamic, and motivated team in the artificial intelligence (AI) and robotic technology industry. Our technology aims to help protect the environment by supporting the sustainable development of the marine industry. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist who is a result driven and energetic individual to join our rapidly growing team in Halifax, NS.
Roles and Responsibilities:
In this Marketing Specialist role, the successful candidate will:
- Work closely with teams to support branded advertising campaigns, such as design, plan and set up for trade shows.
- Assess characteristics of products or services to be promoted and prepare Marine Thinking’s advertising by directing images and video materials
- Design, update and maintain company’s website and social media page with new content
- Design product’s promotion material, including printing and digital materials to present it as market ready-to-use
- Assist with product selections and presentation for the online store
- Plan execute all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
- Research competitor’s pricing and products
- Build, plan, and implement overall marketing strategy
- Measures & Reports Performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities and improve campaign performance
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing
- Monitor social media and Google Analytics
- Stay up-to-date with emerging digital marketing trends and technologies
Qualifications and Education Requirements
To be successful candidate for this role, you must be/have:
- Design or marketing related degree or at least 5 years equivalent experience in related field
- Comfortable working in ambiguous instructions in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
- Flexible with changing direction and prioritization and proficient at managing multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, fluency in French is a bonus
- Excellent comprehensive skills
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills to deal with unexpected or urgent issues on marketing content and be attentive to detail
- Constructional thinking is also a key to design and maintain the website/social media content
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Proficient with MS Teams, MS Office, Google Analytics, and other professional work software
