SUMMARY:
It is the responsibility of the Database Marketing Specialist to oversee the creation and management of direct marketing campaigns and email marketing initiatives; manage deadlines; and communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders. The position also responds to guest inquiries about offers and conducts property training on marketing systems and programs. Finally, the incumbent will proofread all direct marketing offers and participates in improving data quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and execute direct mail and email marketing campaigns, including email blasts and configuring trigger-based programs.
- Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, or activities of organizations or businesses to ensure continuing operations, maximize marketing campaign-building efficiencies and increase production.
- Prepare data list and marketing campaign builds for approval, including those for implementation of programs.
- Maintain all direct marketing projects from start to finish, including initiating job-starter, trafficking, and managing timelines.
- Develop and test new tools related to campaign execution along with developing the process workflow around all campaigns by acting as a project manager.
- Respond to guest inquiries about mail offers.
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Proofread and approve mail as well as participated in improving the quality of data.
- Safeguard the confidential information of all employees, department, and company records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within the area of responsibility. Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Experience with Bally Systems (CMP, Bl, EBS) and SQL, or comparable
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization, and prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent in English, and articulate.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications required.
- Must be able to register with the NV Gaming Control Board successfully.
- Bachelor or related degree preferred.
- Two years experience in comparable roles, with at least one in gaming.
- The minimum age requirement is 21.
- Must possess basic mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide specific to position responsibilities.
- Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
- Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
