Are you a creative and enthusiastic self-starter? The Calisen Marketing and Communications team is seeking someone just like you to join us as a Marketing and Communications Assistant on a secondment basis for a minimum of 6 months.
With ambitious plans to accelerate all our brands within the Calisen Group, we are looking for a dynamic individual to support our Marketing Manager and Internal Communications Manager drive an innovative marketing strategy forward.
As a Marketing and Communications Assistant, you'll assist on a diverse range of activities, gaining valuable experience in social media, email marketing, content delivery, and much more.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the marketing and communications team undertaking administrative tasks to ensure coordination of the department’s activities and campaigns.
- Assist with internal and external communications and promotional activities including copywriting and proofreading.
- Create engaging and visually appealing content, including images, videos, and written content for social media channels, websites, and other digital platforms, that effectively communicates the value proposition of our products and services.
- Support with the development and implementation of a social media plan that aligns with company goals and target audience.
- Manage social media accounts, including posting, scheduling, and analysing performance to optimize growth and engagement.
- Compiling and distributing departmental information including reporting on campaigns and activities.
- Creating and managing email lists, segmenting audiences, and creating targeted email content that speaks to the needs of the audience, both internally and externally.
- Support with the creation of an events and exhibition calendar and assist in booking and organising events.
- Assist in maintaining brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across all design deliverables.
- Assist in the creation of an internal communications calendar to support the communications strategy, and our Internal Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Wellbeing workstreams.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Dynamic, eager to learn, and able to work as part of an energetic and outgoing team
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for social media and experience using LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
- It is also desirable that you have previously had experience of working in an office and dealing with multiple stakeholders.
