Job Title: Marketing Specialist
Location(s): Irvine, CA (Onsite) – Preferred, Open to Cincinnati, OH (Onsite) or Milpitas, CA (Onsite)
Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000

Advantech is currently looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team in N. America who is willing to work hard and grow with the company. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experiences in a variety of tasks that support the marketing team. Tasks could include projects that are directed at maximizing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns focused on select vertical markets. The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing professional who is self-motivated, results-oriented and experienced in email campaigns, content creation and syndication, SEM/SEO, industry media relations, industry trade show management, and social media.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute effective marketing campaigns leveraging a variety of marketing tactics to promote select Advantech products into assigned vertical markets to ensure leads are generated for all stages of the buying cycle.
- Design and implement clear and effective HTML-based email promotions, web pages, and landing pages.
- Optimize vertical corporate web pages to increase website traffic, conversions, and other key metrics
- Own budget and execute paid marketing campaigns including PPC programs (Google, LinkedIn, Facebook) and media publication ads and programs to generate and nurture leads
- Research and maintain existing online industry portals and directories.
- Plan and manage trade shows to ensure Advantech’s image continues to grow as a leader in assigned vertical markets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Marketing, Sales and Product teams across global and regional offices to create original content and localize existing assets for targeted audiences
- 10-20% of travel per year
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in marketing, preferably in Business-to-Business (B2B) environment; Emphasis in High Tech Field and/or specific experience with tech manufacturer a strong plus
- Experience designing & implementing email marketing.
- Experience managing trade shows from concept to completion.
- Experience with Pardot or other marketing automation tools a strong plus
- Experience with PPC, SEO, lead generation and nurturing
- Experience with Google Analytics and general data analysis, with ability to extract business insight based on trends
- Proficiency in use of business productivity tools such as Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, and Google Suite
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess efficient time management, strong organizational skills, is self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Positive and determined attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems, processes, plans, and programs
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time
- Must be up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in marketing
