If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Helpline Advisor team!
About The Role
The RNIB is the leading UK's sight loss charity, where we help blind and partially sighted people thrive. Our helpline service advises those affected by sight loss and 3rd parties (i.e. friends, family and health and social services) on a range of services, products and reading materials, including our digital Talking Books service; a free service that provides blind and partially sighted people with access to over 23,000 titles. Full training on our products and services will be provided.
Using your excellent communication skills you will make a positive impact and genuine difference. Your day to day activities will include dealing with inbound calls, supporting customers with buying products and assisting with Talking books, signposting to appropriate services and ensuring customer satisfaction, including complaint handling.
During your training, you'll work 4 days per week in Peterborough. Once your training is complete, you'll work 2 days in Peterborough and 3 at home.
Who We're Looking For
Key to this role will be your excellent telephone manner, effective verbal and written communication skills. You will also have good knowledge of computerised sales/service operations, as well as be a confident user of Word and Excel.
While this role will mainly be Monday to Friday, you will occasionally also work Saturday mornings (9:00am - 1:00pm)
