Job description

Marketing, Communications and Events Manager needed! Looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Our client, a leading UK terrorism reinsurer, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated professional to lead their vibrant communications team. This role offers a competitive salary (£70,000 - £75,000 pa) and a hybrid work model based in London with the option to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a focused communications team.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive annual communications and marketing strategy.
  • Partner with external entities to optimise marketing tools and our website.
  • Boost website traffic and user engagement by creating high-quality content and ensuring a seamless user journey.
  • Collaborate across teams to develop new content and tools that align with company goals.
  • Craft captivating messaging and copy to support the company's work.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials and social media platforms.
  • Plan and manage a variety of annual events, including online and in-person market events, roundtables, and dinners.
  • Work with external design partners to deliver top-quality, on-brand materials.
  • Manage social media planning, execution, and growth.
  • Stay current with marketing and copyright regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Manage annual marketing budgets efficiently.
  • Oversee the contact database.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of seven years of experience in a dynamic communications team.
  • Demonstrable experience in event management, from conception to delivery.
  • Proven experience in developing printed materials from concept through to delivery and distribution.
  • Solid experience in digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in using data analytics and management information for reporting and improving customer experience.
  • Strong copywriting skills.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with the insurance/financial services sector.
