About the opportunity
We are currently recruiting a Marketing Co-ordinator to join our busy Marketing team. Reporting into the In-Store Marketing Manager, your role will help to support the team to deliver the business Customer Activity Plan.
The Marketing Co-ordinator is an ideal role for someone keen to make a career within Marketing and has a general interest in marketing and social media.
The role is based at our Customer Support Centre (CSC) in Walsall, with the ability to work agile between 'home' and the CSC.

What you'll be doing...
- Working alongside the Line Manager to brief creative for in-store activity with a focus on promotional space, online leaflets and digital marketing
- Supporting with Retail communications, adding relevant detail to documents across Poundland
- Supporting local marketing for new stores and formats e.g., Poundland Local
- Visiting stores for competitor images to be used within reviews
- Working with the printers for POS reprints for new stores and library
- Owning the marketing helpdesk emails to ensure minimum backlog and stores get what they need
- Attending Pep&Co fashion shoots and supporting with lifestyle shoots for Poundland (Pep&Co Home and seasonal events)
- Organising samples for any photography required for POS, liaising with the relevant traders, DC or collection from store.
- Assist with any store mock-ups required.
- Support with invoices including raising purchase orders
What you'll need...
- Whilst no marketing experience is needed, a general interest in retail, marketing and social media is desirable
- Great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and also work cross functionally
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple projects at any one time.
- Creative flair is a must
- Excellent people skills
- Competent in using all Microsoft Office packages
