Job description
Who we’re looking for
The team focuses on digital channels including digital advertising (paid social, PPC, display, affiliates etc.), organic social, email/automation and our website/SEO.
The Digital Marketing team collaborates with the business and the wider Sales and Marketing function including teams such as brand, design, content development and campaign management to shape the right approaches. It also works closely with a small group of digital agencies that span web/Marketing Cloud development, SEO and paid media and directly with platforms like LinkedIn. It also has strong relationships with Salesforce, IT and Risk, which are key to furthering our Marketing technology strategy.
Sales & Marketing is a centralised support function and covers all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support and business development. The prime area of focus for the function is to support the development and implementation of the firm’s market strategy and in particular to ensure:

The successful candidate will have some previous experience of working with a Marketing Automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred but training will be provided) and will join a team of experienced digital marketers, including Marketing Automation specialists which the individual will work closely with and learn from.
The role will not only be hands-on and involve executing and analysing the performance of email campaigns in the platform, but it will also play a role in developing new processes and ways of working within the wider Marketing function being driven by Marketing Cloud.
The individual will be involved in helping the team with the day to day platform operations and also support our teams as they start to utilise the platform further, getting involved in upskilling and training them to become confident users.

Responsibilities:
Building, sending and analysing email marketing campaigns within Marketing Cloud using Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, Marketing Cloud Personalisation and Marketing Cloud Intelligence
Building ‘drag and drop’ journeys and email templates
Working with the wider marketing team to create personalised user journeys
Creating forms and Cloud Pages in Web Studio
Helping manage the email marketing schedule and working with Marketing teams to prioritise and plan for campaigns
Refining the process for submitting requests to the MC team and tracking adherence to SLAs
Providing quality assurance checks on campaigns prior to execution
Using products to periodically check our campaigns against deliverability data and to fully test templates
Being a key contact point for the Marketing teams day-to-day, troubleshooting and providing general guidance and support
Looking at performance data within Marketing Cloud to suggest optimisations
Working with the CRM Team on audiences for email sends
Working with the Marketing Cloud Product Manager to flag technical issues/bugs
Attending demos and training sessions to upskill on future functionality and platform development with Salesforce
Documenting best practices and sharing knowledge and with the wider Marketing function
Keeping up-to-date with Data Protection laws, accessibility guidelines and industry best practice, trends and standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience in an email marketing/ marketing automation platform, with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM experience beneficialUsed to delivering projects to schedule and achieving desired results, in liaison with other teams
Strong attention to detail and an analytical flair
Clear communication style to manage a busy schedule of work and stakeholder expectations
Comfort with analysing data and making recommendations.
