Job Summary
We are looking for an Executive Assistant on full time permanent basis to join our Governance and Risk team.
The role reports to the Chief Officer (Governance and Risk) working closely with the Specialist PA and other units across the business to provide support to the Board of Trustees and wider Executive team.
The day-to-day responsibilities of the role will focus on providing comprehensive organisational and administrative support to the Chair of the Trustees (Chair) by proactively coordinating meetings, diary appointments and tasks as directed by the Chair.
The role will work in hybrid manner where you will work both from our office in Leicester and from home.
What you will be doing:
- Provide support to the Chair in delivering the governance framework
- Provide administrative services including electronic diary management, event planning, organising travel, and correspondence for the Chair
- Work closely with the Chair to ensure coordination of Trustee Board level documentation as requested, including Trustee appraisals, meeting agendas and declaration of interests.
- To coordinate, attend and take minutes for the Chair’s meetings as requested, including Board and sub-committee meetings.
- Follow up on action points for the Chair, Trustees and Executive Team from Trustee Board level meetings
- Provide governance and Trustee Board related administration working alongside the Chief Officer (Governance and Risk), including management of the IBABS document management system
- To coordinate the review and where necessary update of related departmental policies and procedures, overseen by the Chief Officer (Governance and Risk)
- All other assigned administration or tasks, including establishing and maintaining accurate electronic filing systems, maximising the use of available technology
- Contribute to Governance and Risk operational planning to support NEBOSH in achieving their business goals
About You:
Our ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Experience of working as a PA or Executive Assistant at Director or Senior Officer level
- Experience of providing administrative support in a dynamic environment
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to recognise, prioritise and deal with important and sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality at all times
- A proactive approach and the ability to prioritise
- Ability to communicate clearly, orally and in writing, paying particular attention to detail, and with a good command of English.
- Ability to attend meetings and take an accurate and concise minute or action note decisions.
- Proficient IT (MS Office) skills
- A willingness to work flexibly as an effective team member.

Salary:
£35,000 per annum.
Working Hours:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
