An exciting – and rare – opportunity has arisen within the marketing team at Admiral. Do you want to be part of an in-house Advertising team working on our Pet Insurance product?

We’re looking for someone who’s highly motivated and can support our Acquisition Campaign Manager and wider advertising team. This role will focus on delivering quotes and sales through paid acquisition channels for our Pet Insurance product.
This will include day to day optimisation, data analysis and reporting on our paid acquisition channels; including but not limited to paid search, video, social, discovery, display.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Knowledge and experience of paid acquisition channels; including but not limited to paid search, video, social, discovery, display.
- Strong analytical skills and is comfortable at handling and reporting on huge data sets.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and presenting data
- An exceptional eye for detail
- An understanding of FCA regulations within the finance industry
- An ability to own and balance multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
- Comfortable communicating to key stakeholders and presenting data with You have proven experience of managing relationships, both internally and externally.
- A passion for digital marketing and an interest in all things performance marketing.
- Great time-management skills and can prioritise tasks without support.
- Enough knowledge of PPC to be able to make relevant, and effective, keyword, bid changes and ad copy recommendations.
- Ability to show initiative and is incredibly proactive.
- Experience of running remarketing and retargeting campaigns
- You’re comfortable challenging the status quo and offering alternatives so that we’re always improving our way of working.
- Experience using bid-management and multiple paid acquisition platforms.
- Google Ads certified (not compulsory but preferred).
Some things that you’ll be doing:
- You’ll be working with the Acquisition campaign manager on the acquisition strategy for Pet across paid search, video, display and social. Whilst looking to also develop our audience strategy further.
- You’ll be regularly reviewing our performance against a range of objectives and KPIs and identifying potential opportunities, as well as things that aren’t performing well.
- Liaising with different departments within Marketing and Pet to keep up to date with product/website/marketing developments.
- Day-to-day optimisation of PPC, video, display and social media advertising to improve KPI’s like CTR/VTR & conversion against specific ROI/ROAS/CPA targets.
- Proposing ways to take our reporting to the next level and automate wherever possible.
- Supporting the Acquisition campaign manager in all tasks as required
- Building, implementing and monitoring new paid acquisition campaigns according to briefs
- Reporting on ad copy/creative and landing page A/B testing.
- Working closely with pet product owners to support their business targets, in line with our team priorities.
- Monitoring competitor activity and discovering new opportunities.
- Making recommendations to improve performance and to drive further efficiencies.
- Liaising with compliance to ensure our ad copy/creatives adheres to FCA regulations.
- Ensuring that our technology and tracking (Google, Bing and Facebook) is functioning correctly and raise, or fix, any issues.
