We’re seeking a highly strategic Marketing Manager to join a leading supplier of machine parts and workshop supplies based in Hereford. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you’ll be responsible for taking ownership of, developing and implementing the content-led and fully integrated marketing strategy, keeping clarity on direction and goals for the marketing team. You’ll manage and lead the team to increase sales revenues through web sales, support the sales team with all required content and sales support materials and be continually building brand presence and value. This would well suit an experienced Marketing Manager who's extremely strategic whilst being hands on within an SME business, delivering quality marketing campaigns to attract business customers to utilise the website. You will attend various events/expos to better understand the market to keep the business as the forefront of the industry whilst managing the existing team and utilising external agencies should there be a need.
Your responsibilities include:
- Website and e-commerce functions.
- Delivering on the agreed B2C sales target.
- Production of printed material to support the sales team.
- New product and service campaigns, design and delivery.
- Lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services.
- Brainstorm ideas for new campaigns.
- Monitor current campaigns, ensuring the team meets deadlines and complete necessary tasks.
- Analyse data to evaluate the success of their marketing efforts and come up with new ideas to improve brand marketing and exposure.
- Set and monitor KPI’s for the team.
- Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups including product management, sales, or customer support.
- Update senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns.
- At least 5 years of marketing experience in B2B.
- At least 2 years experience of leading and managing a team of creatives.
- Working to deliver on KPI’s and sales revenue targets.
- Skills to analyse and monitor trends in the market.
- An exceptional level of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Appetite to be involved in working in all parts of the team, having a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication experience, able to work collaboratively with the wider SLT team, as well as autonomously within the specific business section.
- Ideally CIM or working towards (or qualified by experience)
- Salary of £50,000 depending on experience
