TransferRoom is a hyper-growth B2B SaaS business on a mission to change the football transfer market for the better. We do this by empowering football clubs, agents and players to be successful in the transfer market by giving them real-time market intelligence and direct access to a global network of decision-makers.
Since our launch in 2017, clubs have used TransferRoom to facilitate over 3,000 transfers, and we are proud that today over 650 clubs from 60+ countries and 100+ leagues are currently using the platform.
We're looking for a B2B Marketing Manager to supercharge our marketing support at every step of the Sales and Retention process.
What you’ll be doing:
- Making sure our Sales team has all the materials they need to successfully pitch, nurture and convert. Positioning packages and pricing to steer customers towards a desired outcome.
- Supporting our Retention team with resources that help them retain and upsell.
- Supporting our Customer Success team with materials to engage in business reviews
- Harnessing the vast amount of data from our platform and turning it into compelling insights to support customer conversations.
- Briefing the data team to look for the right stats to support your marketing materials.
- Writing punchy copy for marketing materials. This could include presentation decks, bid proposals, emails, handouts, articles, success stories, video scripts, etc.
- Briefing, guiding and working hand-in-hand with Designers to bring your ideas and content to life visually.
- Editing video content and ideally being able to create your own.
- Taking ownership of the storage and easy discoverability of all sales enablement material and version control, to ensure consistent usage of the latest material.
- Becoming an expert on our customers’ pain points and how we address them.
- Developing a deep understanding of our commercial objectives and working with our Commercial team to find ways to achieve them.
- Sharing your materials and insights with the commercial team in regular calls and Slack updates, etc.
- Running occasional training sessions with commercial reps.
- Researching competitors and sales enablement best practice to keep ahead of the game.
- You’ll be measured in terms of your commercial impact and internal feedback from your colleagues.
Who you are:
- Incredibly organised with strong time management skills, thriving on managing multiple projects and stakeholders consecutively.
- A proactive, self-starter with experience working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong focus on quality of output and attention to detail. You appreciate that every word matters.
- An exceptional communicator - written and verbal. Comfortable sharing ideas, feedback and managing expectations with colleagues across all teams, experience levels and technical capabilities.
- A strong story teller, confident presenting and “selling” ideas internally.
- Ability and willingness to get stuck into the data to find the “nuggets” to support a sales story.
- Strong commercial mindset.
- Curious personality, always looking for new knowledge, tools and insights to keep evolving our design capabilities.
Essentials:
- 3+ years of B2B marketing or sales enablement experience, ideally at a fast moving SaaS company, where you’ve delivered proven commercial impact.
- Exceptional writing skills, with proven experience at adapting writing for specific formats, e.g. presentations decks, emails, one pagers.
- Strong working knowledge of G-Suite (Slides, docs, sheets) is a bonus.
- Football industry experience and knowledge are a plus, but not essential.
