Role Overview

We’re now on the lookout for our first ever Head of Marketing, who can take the brand we’ve built to the next level. You’ll do this by building and delivering proactive and reactive brand stories that stop people in their tracks, holds their attention and generates even more awareness of our brand across the UK.

You’ll work closely with several teams including sales, product development, design and events, drawing on activity that’s already happening across the business, as well as adding your own creative ideas, in order to develop and execute an annual PR, social media and marketing plan that reaches predominately new, untapped audiences, while nurturing our existing loyal customer base.

The ideal candidate has great gut instincts for what generates attention, particularly in earned spaces, and isn’t afraid to take bold, considered risks. You can mentor and develop your team (2 direct reports) and you’re passionate and positive, with a can-do attitude and great attention to detail. You have experience in PR, social media (paid & earned), marketing stunts & events, and can build relationships with key stakeholders and thrive in a fast paced and fun environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and activate strategic plans that tell proactive stories to help build the Tiny Rebel brand in the consumer and industry landscape, with the ultimate, long-term aim of growing on and offline trade
  • Develop and execute an insight led social media (paid & organic), PR, influencer, events, stunts and brand partnerships plan, all of which will generate planned proactive & reactive content which fuses key business messages with audience interests/ cultural moments
  • Have a solid understanding of securing consumer data and insights and utilise these for the strategy and activation of ideas
  • Have a sound understanding of paid social media and able to activate this at key moments identified within the strategy

The person

  • Demonstrable experience in a Senior Marketing role, ideally in a similar industry
  • Able to exercise sound business judgement in fast-paced, changing, and sometimes ambiguous situations and environments
  • A lover of craft beer, spirits, iconic brands and someone who has clear understanding of what makes cultural brands stand out from the crowd
  • Entrepreneurial, with a strong work ethic that puts you head and shoulders above your competition
  • Able to demonstrate outstanding people skills. Confident and outgoing with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly & professionally
