HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
The Marketing team at Peter Millar International is responsible for all consumer and wholesale marketing for the Peter Millar and G/FORE brands in the UK, Europe and several other territories.
The successful candidate will manage and deliver a strong marketing, communications and advertising programme for the Peter Millar and/or G/FORE brands. Bringing solid experience in golf marketing to this new role, the successful candidate will focus on delivering existing marketing initiatives as well as researching, evaluating and agreeing new activations.
- Successfully execute the marketing strategy in the UK and Europe
- Identify, research, deliver and develop marketing initiatives both consumer and wholesale
- Assist in the delivery of multiple marketing projects & events within the UK & Europe.
- Provide brand support to distribution partners globally
- Maintain high customer brand advocacy whilst increasing brand awareness
- Develop new and existing partnerships to drive commercial objectives and brand growth
- Proactively review and propose multichannel marketing initiatives
- Maintain trusted relationships with members of trade and consumer media outlets
- Manage the delivery of all marketing collateral to support the Sales Team
- Develop outstanding relationships with marketing colleagues in the UK and USA
- Ensure marketing materials are optimised for customers internationally
- Work closely with Ecommerce team on brand marketing deliverables
- Become product spokesperson and effective communicator of benefits
- Assist on event delivery for The Open Championship, Ryder Cup, Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and more
- Nurture network of brand ambassadors and develop relationships with representatives
- Management of all communications and annual marketing plans with buying groups including but not limited to TGI, Foremost, Golfstore and Dormy
- Propose corporate sales opportunities
- Other essential duties as assigned
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Have previous experience working in the golf or sporting goods industry
- Bring established relationships within golf
- Demonstrate high levels of self-motivation in a commercial context
- Display excellent communication skills
- Take a proactive approach to the role
- Be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset and be a problem solver
- Show a keen eye for detail
- Enjoy the ability to write or edit brand copy
- Have a strong proficiency in MS Office
