RDT's key products are the Landscape policy and claims administration platform as well as Equator, a centralised rating system. The business is set to launch ACE (Agile Composition Engine) into the market, a revolutionary piece of software designed to streamline and automate the insurance process.

The Head of Marketing role at RDT

Our new role represents an exciting opportunity for you to immediately make a significant impact through successfully planning and implementing our marketing activities and campaigns across the business.

As our marketing manager we are looking for an all-rounder with experience in marketing planning, campaign ideation and implementation with robust experience in digital and offline marketing channels and tactics.

You must have strong project and stakeholder management skills as well as not be afraid to challenge the status quo. We are looking for someone who is comfortable managing budgets as well as having a keen eye for data and can report and benchmark against KPIs.

We operate as a small and tight-knit team and as part of your role you will be leading on our marketing efforts with the support of a part time marketing director. Reporting directly to the leadership we are looking for you to make a direct contribution to our growth and success.

What you'll be doing

Key Projects

  • The business is looking to create key brand DNA assets such as our mission, vision, values, key messages to market and positioning in the marketplace. Working with an external agency and our leadership team you’ll help shape these assets and help embed them into our business.
  • With the help of an external agency, you’ll be responsible for the businesses visual refresh and how this will apply to key offline and online channels including all our key brochures.
  • In February 2024 we are looking to restructure, rewrite and redesign the website in line with our refreshed identity. A project that you’ll be responsible for managing in conjunction with an agency and copywriter.
  • You’ll also be responsible in planning and implementing our flagship campaign for ACE an exciting and new piece of software that we are looking to launch into the marketplace imminently.

Planning and Campaigns

  • You’ll be responsible for creating and tracking the businesses first marketing plan and working with the marketing executive to implement the plan across both online and offline channels.
  • Your role will require you to work closely with our sales team to support them through the sales cycle and to help them develop collateral and marketing campaigns that helps them to achieve their growth targets.
  • For all plans and campaigns, you’ll be required to use a range of analytics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and performance of your go to market strategies.

Branding

  • This role will require you to be the firm’s brand champion and ensure that we go to market across all of our channels in a consistent way through our tone of voice and brand guidelines.
  • You’ll be responsible for overseeing and signing off all content for brand consistency as well as putting processes in place to ensure that our branding is adhered too.

Marketing channels

  • Understand and implement basic on and off page SEO techniques across the website.
  • Monitor and update the Google Business Profile.
  • Responsible for the social media strategy for the business and ensure that RDT has an active and engaging social media presence.
  • Creates and implements a content strategy that supports the buyer journey from case studies, testimonials blogs, brochures and videos.
  • Develops a PR brief, selects and manages a provider to help develop and increase market profile for RDT.
  • Creates and regularly implements an email marketing newsletter once a month for key contacts.
  • Researches, writes and promotes award submissions for products across the business.
  • Researches and attends events that are industry specific ensuring that a follow up strategy is put in place.
  • Becomes a HubSpot super user and understands the full functionality that can be used for the business. Work with the sales team and wider business to ensure that the CRM is up to date, cleansed and used as a reporting tool.

Marketing Operations

  • Attending leadership meetings for strategic input.
  • Managing and reporting on budget spend.
  • Monthly reporting on marketing KPI’s to the leadership team.
  • Managing external suppliers such as copywriters, design agencies and PR.
  • Monitoring the competition and conduct market research as and when needed.
  • Responsible for creating and keeping up to date the marketing playbook – a manual for all marketing processes, passwords and systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Batchelors degree minimum.

· Marketing qualification desirable.

· Proven experience in marketing with a good mix of online, offline and product marketing.

· Expertise in marketing software solutions, preferably with experience in insurance desirable but not essential.

· Experience with HubSpot, Canva, social media scheduling and email marketing systems.

· Knowledge of PPC and paid ad campaigns.
