Job description
Who We are
Raccoon.co.uk is a production led, large format print business with an emphasis on vehicle based promotions, event branding and retail display. We are an award winning vehicle wrapping business, operate the very successful www.promohire.co.uk vehicle hire service and provide last minute print production and POD services through our www.raccoon.store.
We follow an inbound approach to marketing and, following significant success in the last year, are looking to expand our growth focussed team.
What we are looking for
An organised, creative all-rounder who will champion the Raccoon Store, Raccoon and Promohire brands. We are looking for someone who can:
- Keep up with the demands of our e-commerce platform.
- Design eye catching and engaging webpages.
- Keep up with the maintenance and development requirements of our websites.
- Own our CMS.
- Analyse customer behaviour and data to improve our marketing funnel, customer journey and conversions.
- Own our image archive.
- Run paid ad campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Handle the responsibility of a social media posting schedule.
Who you are
- You’re empathetic – you can put yourself in the mind of a customer, an ability you use to help improve the customer journey and refine our marketing funnel.
- You’re creative – you know how to present information for maximum impact, readability and retention.
- You’ll be as engaging as you are analytical – you will not only be able to create impact, but be able to assess your performance and refine your strategy on an ongoing basis.
- You love organisation – you will be assisting with our content strategy, managing process driven automation, a large image repository and a social media posting schedule, so a natural inclination towards order will be an advantage.
- You’re resourceful – you think outside the box, finding creative, cost-effective solutions to company pain points.
- You’re detail oriented – you’re able to spot gaps and barriers affecting the user experience.
- You work well with others – our marketing and sales team work closely, so collaboration is expected and required to achieve team wide objectives.
- Opportunity not obligation – You see every request as a chance to learn new skills, grow your experience and add value.
- You love to learn – Raccoon operates across a whole spectrum of graphic dependant industries, which will take some time to get used to.
Self-development is important to you – we are always looking for new opportunities to grow as a business, and that extends to everyone who works here. We provide access to a variety of different educational platforms and will expect you to complete some role-specific training.
You take the initiative – You are happy to problem solve independently and always willing to try to address a new issue yourself before you ask someone else. You are also happy to help other people if you can see someone struggling.
What you will be doing
You will be supporting the Sales and Content team to smooth the integration of our inbound marketing strategy. The www.raccoon.store will be a key focus so an aptitude for e-commerce is a must.
Responsibility breakdown:
- Designing, creating and updating website pages, emails, links, images etc. in line with brand guidelines.
- Optimising our websites to improve the customer journey.
- Executing end-to-end marketing campaigns including content strategy and implementation, landing page development, social media, and email marketing.
- Utilising automation for lead nurturing and data management.
- Analysing website and user behaviour data to continually improve conversion rates.
- Working with the sales team to define and generate sales qualified leads.
- Reporting ROI on marketing efforts.
- Curating our image library. Image accessibility is a key part of optimising our efficiency as a business – both our sales and content team regularly use the image archive, so logical organisation is paramount.
- Paid ad campaigns on Google, LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Managing brand specific social media channels spanning LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram.
Your experience
- You’ll have demonstrable experience in web design, conversion optimisation and e-commerce.
- 1-3 years of experience with HubSpot or similar marketing software (Pardot, Marketo, Mailchimp, etc.)
- You will understand SEO best practise and inbound marketing strategies.
- You will be at home on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram.
- You will be proficient in photo editing tools such as Photoshop or GIMP and design tools such as Canva.
- You will have a degree in ideally design, marketing, journalism, media and communication, public relations etc. or equivalent experience.
